I had planned on coming to the Open House at the AHRC today, but am feeling unwell. I just wanted to post some words of admiration and love. As one who was born and raised in Atlanta, I am thankful for the wonderful work that you all have done and continue to do in our ever-growing community. I hope you feel the positivity and love being sent your way as you strive to continue to provide necessary services in the A.

peace and love.

I volunteered at AHRC during my Spring Break in 2010 with the University of Florida Alternative Breaks. I had a great time. I was amazed to see the influence that AHRC had on the community it serves. It was a great experience because I learned a lot from the staff, volunteers, and people who came to the AHRC. This experience made me more understanding and opened my eyes to the different issues surrounding substance abuse.

I was at AHRC in January with Alternative Breaks, you all are amazing people and keep doing what you are doing you are making a great difference in the world! More people need to be caring and understanding as the staff at AHRC. I hope to volunteer there again some day! I also hope that you are all enjoying your new painting and offices :)
